MMHHHH FRUITY

here is a first pic of the cherry socks:

I ended up dyeing the red Yarn again and it is a bit nicer red now. Plus I used different main Yarn for the sock. Where first I had the Jagerspun Wool I now am using AuntLydia's "shimmer"fashion Crochet cotton in linen collour.
it gives it a bit of a sparkle from the rayon without beeing too garish.
Love them so far and love to knitt with aunt lydia's.. I will definitely get mor in different collours for more socks.

The chart I used was my own , but CK ( now known as the chart goddess) was sweet enough to put some up on her blog so swing by there, if you want fruity socks! they are great!!!

My momentum has slowed a bit, but here are a couple more pairs of finished socks.

I've got a few more pairs in various states of completion, three even have single socks! I'll be working on wrapping those up to make it to 50 by the new year. :)

Well ain't that just peachy....

I charted this afternoon some cherries for the heel of some socks .. then I started knitting and scrounging for leftover Yarn in the right collours ( green and red) I found green and died some of my handspun in red...
Hubby just came home and I asked him, what he thought and if he could tell what it was I am knitting into the heel and he dared to say... NO...
he said the cherries weren't "red" enough to be recognizable as cherries....grrrrrrrr... well ... maybe just maybe he has a point. But here are some pics anyway...I will make them again with a bright red for the cherries ... but here is the start of the first one for you all to see. once I figure out how to get the chart on the computer, I will put it on this blog, just in case someone else wants cherry socks...
