I thought I'd start this off by posting some pics of previous sock endeavors. This is by no means a listing of ALL the socks I've done. Some of them went straight to my(or others') feet without me photographing them. Whoops.
Knee socks for my oldest daughter. Elann Sock-it-to-me yarn.
My first ever pair of socks made from self-dyed Yarn. Various colors(flavors) of KoolAid over Kroy variegated pink yarn.
Regular old socks made with Lorna's Laces(Lorikeet). One sock was toe up--my first time with a toe up sock-- the other was cuff down and boy did that make a difference!
Another every-day pattern. Here's where I joined the Koigu PPPM bandwagon. It's very pretty to touch and knit with. But it's not very sturdy for socks. That didn't stop me from making another pair with it though:
Crusoe socks, at Knitty.com. Slightly flawed pattern but if you know sock knitting like I do, you can easily figure out where the mistake was and fix it easily.
Kroy Sock yarn again, standard issue pattern.
Socks for my then 1-year-old. Forttissima Socka Colori. Hers don't have a heel flap. I have an identical pair for myself.
My very first pair of handknit socks. Also Fortissima Socka Colori.
Scrap yarn socks. There were by far the most fun pair I'd made. Includes the two previous yarns and the leftover yellow Koigu.
There's more sock yarn madness to come, I promise.
